The full AA Crew of Boycie, Li’l Stu and Dan is now assembled in Las Vegas, and it sounds like they had a fabulous DAY 1 proper at SHOT ’23!
As will be our format for shows going forward we asked the gang to pick one product each day that REALLY piqued their interest, although when it comes to the full show report in the FEBRUARY ISSUE obviously we’ll be covering much more, in more detail!
Boycie checked in to tell us;
“One thing you cannot possibly comprehend until you get here is the enormous scale of the show. It is so vast that if you spent 30 seconds looking at each booth and moving in between the halls during opening hours 8.00-5.30, it would take weeks to see every stand!
In the afternoon our fellow Red Cell member Dan arrived and we met at the Lancer Tactical stand. Here we had a good chat with our fellow Legion member Marck of LayLax.
After leaving Marck to chat with other attendees we went off to visit RTS. I’ve had one of the Ready Tactical Slings for over a year now and it’s a fantastic piece of kit. We were shown the system by owner of RTS, Chad Spriggs.
Li’l Stu added “I was really taken aback that such simple design works so well. You can use the sling either as a single or a two point system and the rifle is held really close to your chest and is able to be rapidly deployed.”
Dan was also really impressed with the versatility of the design, and said “the number of carry positions that can be employed far exceed those of comparable systems. Having seen the sling for only a few minutes it is likely that I’ll use it for both my airsoft and real steel applications”.
