Regular followers of AIRSOFT ACTION will have seen our IWA SHOW REPORT (ISSUE 172), and when we met with the lovely folk at GUNFIRE and SPECNA ARMS one (of many!) of the really cool things that they had to show us was their new licenced KPYK accessory line for AK variants!
This really is very fine stuff indeed; for those of you not yet aware this is a BIG deal, as KPYK (or KRUK for ease…) is a Ukrainian manufacturer specializing in high-performance AK47-AK74-AKM firearm components and accessories designed to boost the capability and reliability of AKs. With a laser focus on precision engineering, KPYK delivers a comprehensive lineup of custom gun parts, tactical gear, and performance upgrades. Drawing from extensive combat experience, KPYK‘s stock and handguard designs ensure superior performance when it counts most; trusted by professionals and firearms enthusiasts alike, every product meets stringent standards for ruggedness and functionality.
And it must be said that these accessories look truly wonderful, and we’re keen to get our hands on a few sets to modernize our own AK AEGs (see the upcoming Issue 174 for news on all the RED CELL AK variants soon!)!
But if you’re not already an airsoft AK-user (why not???) then we’ve been advised a little in advance of their official release that SPECNA ARMS will be dropping some new AEGs imminently that come pre-fitted with examples of the KPYK accessories… and they look AWESOME!
These new pre-accessorized AK variants (shown above is one with a KPYK rail fitted) will come in the SPECNA ARMS CORE line, and will have the HAL ETU and ESA system, and different KPYK components as standard… and we know that the CORE SERIES models are sound as a sound thing, with an attractive price combined with innovative technologies and high-quality materials making them suitable for beginners and seasoned players alike.
We are REALLY looking forward to seeing an example of the finished CORE/ KPYK AEG, and rest assured that as soon as we do we’ll let you know exactly what we think! For now though we’ll just say “nicely done SPECNA ARMS, nicely done indeed!”
