Oh, we do love a bit of MAGPUL in our lives, and we just got the advisory from them that they have released some now products!
Whilst the new TMAG 30 AR and the AMAG for the SIG P320 may not be interesting for airsoft (or are they?) the latest MOE TR CARBINE STOCK and their new DAKA SOFT CASES most certainly are!
At only eight ounces, the MOE® Trigger Release (TR) is one of Magpul’s lightest stocks. Thanks to its ambidextrous, textured Trigger Release adjustment mechanism, it’s also one of the easiest for making LOP adjustments, as well as installing or removing the stock, something to be mindful of when needing to change airsoft batteries in the field!
MAGPUL say;
“The Trigger Release combines with a newly developed takedown lever that also makes the MOE TR stock our easiest stock to install and remove on your firearm. That means no more leveraging a high-tension spring to mount and remove your stock; the innovative, one-handed tool-less takedown lever allows quick and easy installation and removal.
It includes a “padlock” icon to indicate whether the stock is locked or unlocked. Once the lever is positioned in the “locked” position, it can’t be removed from the receiver extension, ensuring it won’t slide off when making LOP adjustments. The takedown lever is also partially recessed to minimize snagging while still permitting easy access to select it when necessary.
For sling attachment, the TR includes ambidextrous M-LOK® slots on each side of rear of the stock that function as a footman’s loop or a space to attach M-LOK QD Sling Mounts.”
In three sizes the DAKA SOFT CASES are made from proprietary DAKA Grit material, making the case lightweight, flexible, durable, and weather resistant. The case’s two external YKK Aquaguard® zippers are extremely rugged and include easy-grip 550 cord pulls that are reinforced with heat shrink wrap. The cases have a MOLLE-style base and include reconfigurable DAKA Gear Straps to secure a rifle, MOLLE-compatible pouches, or other gear. The interior of the lid features five stretchable mesh pockets to hold up to ten PMAG® LR/SR GEN M3 sized magazines, a mesh organizational pocket for small items, and a zippered pocket for accessories and documents such as NFA paperwork, targets, manuals, and other important materials.
We’re certainly excited about the MOE TR CARBINE STOCK as many of the AA Crew run MAGPUL stocks on their own carbines already and honestly love ’em… we’ll try and lay “hands on” soon and report back!
