Yup, we’re back, for a few days at least before we close down AAHQ for our annual “spring cleaning”!
As always we’ve let the new issue settle in at the top of the page for a few days, but there’s just so much news coming through right now that we’re kicking back into gear… with some news courtesy of our mates at iWholesales who have been in touch to say that they’ve had some new MCX-style GBB platforms come in that they thought we, and therefore you, should know all about!
They tell us that;
“The Salvo Precision MCX series provides a gas blowback MCX platform built upon the reliable Double Eagle MWS system. This design choice offers a solid foundation for performance and customization….”
Now we all love an MCX, and the MCX 11.5 SPEAR LT GBBR (pictured) certainly looks righteous to us; we also know the Double Eagle MWS system that we’ve seen in other GBBRs so all in all we know that the new models should rock, and as the SALVO PRECISION line uses the Double Eagle take on the MWS system, we know that there will be cross-compatibility with Tokyo Marui MWS parts, which will allow users to leverage a wide range of existing aftermarket upgrades and replacement parts.
But other features? Yeah, they’re pretty cool too…
- The gas blowback system delivers a more realistic shooting experience compared to electric airsoft rifles.
- The system is designed to function with standard Top Gas/Green Gas.
- The rifle features a combination of metal die-cast, aluminum alloy, steel, and fiber polymer components, aiming for a balance of durability and weight.
- Each rifle ships with a 25-round gas magazine.
- A polymer gun case is included for transport and storage.
- The hop-up unit is adjustable.
- The Salvo Precision MCX is available in four distinct gas blowback variants.
We’re really liking the look of these bad bois, and we hope to get one on the range for testing ASAP… so as always, watch this space for updates!
