Back in the last week of November we talked about the new X SERIES AEGs from SPECNA ARMS (SA) and we are really looking forward to seeing those in the New Year!
However, whilst this project has somewhat stolen the limelight, deep in the depths of their skunkworx SA have been quietly rolling out their new accessory program and making some updates to their EDGE line with some new EDGE 2.0 models!
Bill has been putting in some quality time on the range with a couple of these, the SA-E09-RH EDGE 2.0 and the SA-E13-RH EDGE 2.0 Carbines and will be dropping his full evaluation in ISSUE 145 later this week, but if you haven’t seen these yet then they are 100% worth a look!
As well as benefiting from a slick receiver update, the updated carbines both come with the new HEAVY OPS STOCK, GATE ASTER, ORION GEARBOX, and the ESA2 quick spring change system; the carbines also feature as standard internally;

– aluminum, double sealed cylinder head
– a spring guide with bearings
– a set of steel gears
– 8mm bearings
