The new issue of AA is now out and running free amongst you, and as always we hope that you like what you see!
One of the names, at this stage just briefly mentioned in our IWA Airsoft Report, was that of ROSSI, and one of the things that the team saw in their show display which got them a little bit excited, was the NEPTUNE 10.5″ SAS AEG!
This neat little AEG bears a more-than-passing resemblance to something a certain “Obi Wan” used in Nairobi and although it’s not a “strict replica” of the L119A2 used by UKSF (the upper/rail is two piece and not monolithic), it’s close enough to pass muster, especially when fitted with accessories and sprayed up!
MilSim purists will no doubt be aghast, but for more general airsoft skirmishing, with a little work the NEPTUNE 10.5″ SAS has the ability, in our opinion, to place a proper UKSF-style carbine into the hands of airsofters everywhere.
We’ve already seen that our old mate Dave, at Dave’s Custom Airsoft, has a per-order up on this model, so if you want a slice of this ROSSI action then you’d better get in quick as we believe that the first batch will sell out FAST…
Thankfully the lovely people at ROSSI have already offered to send us one over for full evaluation, so as always, watch this space for our full review soon!
