AIRSOFT ACTION is known for championing GBBRs, but that doesn’t mean that when we see an AEG that we love we get pretty excited… and it’s not all about super-expensive models either!

Sometimes we come across something that makes us stop and take a pause; the SIG MCX RATTLER has been making more and more appearances on-screen of late (SEAL Team, SWAT, Citadel Diana) and is a super little platform ideal for tight spaces which makes it a replica that is perfect for airsoft, especially CQB games.

Bill took a look at the GBB version by AA/APFG back in ISSUE 158 and said of it;

“At a nudge over the UK£600 mark for the rifle, suppressor, and single mag combo the AA/APFG MCX RATTLER is not a budget option when it comes to a GBBR, but oh my, it is outstanding! Would I have one myself? Yes, actually I would as I love the weight, size, shooting performance and downright utility of it!”

So, good as the gas version was, and is, that’s still a hefty chunka-change, a figure that might be some off for sure… BUT… if you want a “RATTLER” you can now have an AEG version for a fraction of that price as what you’ll see in the image today is undoubtedly a lightweight and compact “MCX” manufactured by WELL, a veteran on the airsoft replica market.

The WELL PRO WE10-2, just like the real deal and the GBBR is characterized by its low weight, a compact size, high ergonomics, and it’s full of the latest AEG technology as you’d expect… we think it looks just great!

We’ve had one in testing for a short while now, and as we run up to year-end we’ll be dropping our evaluation of this super-neat little AEG soon… as usual, watch this space!
