Last week it was a chance for our very own AA RED CELL shooter Boycie to host ASG UK at the live fire range where he works; yup, that’s right, Boycie’s “day job” is at a live-fire range… some people have the worst jobs, right!
Airsoft Action have had a long standing relationship with ActionSportGames (ASG) and we had a superb meeting with them at IWA to look at their plans for the rest of this year…. more to come on that in due course when we’re allowed to talk about it!
However, when it came to them getting some real rounds downrange Boycie reported back that “it was a pleasure to have Paul, JB, and the ASG UK guys at the Phoenix Range Shooting Centre to have a break from airsoft and use live firearms.
They each took part in the “Try Shoot Experience” where they learnt about the SIG Sauer 522 and then participated in a 50 round shoot which culminated in an informal competition. The competition result was very close with the top 3 groupings only separated by 1cm overall!
The competition honours were taken by Jordan, followed by Clark and Alfie.
After the shoot, we adjourned to the Centre’s Lounge for refreshments and discuss some upcoming products and projects that I’ll be working with them on for Airsoft Action, but that is as much as I can say right now!”

At some point this year RED CELL and some of the AA LEGION will be joining Boycie on the range too, and we’ll be sure to report back on that when it happens!
