Regulars here will know that we’ve been avidly following the rollout of the Airsofter World Games, and now the latest event coming soon in Sweden is set to ignite the airsoft community and push things forward yet again!
On May 10, Verage Airsoft will organise the first Swedish Airsofter World Games at the Frysen Arena. This thrilling international competition will bring together teams from all over Sweden to test their skills and expertise in a tactical, mission driven, 5 vs 5 competition.
The event marks the start of the first national competitions in this international Airsofter World Games competition. The teams will compete for a spot on the international competition in 2026 and a grand prize package, put together by brands such as Red Bull, Sordin, Evolution, ICS, Phylax, Frysen Airsoft, Shooters Global and Perun Mosfets.
The total prize pot exceeds over 30000 SEK (3000 euros) and includes Evolution and ICS AEGs, Sordin earpro, a Shooters Global shooting timer, Phylax BBs and gas, various Perun Mosfets, Frysen goodies and of course Red Bull!
Verage tells us that “the support from these companies is a huge push in the back for the airsoft community, nationally and internationally, to keep evolving and putting airsoft on the map!”
Two special extras are added to this special event, a livestream and a spectator area; the livestream includes multi angle static and dynamic cameras, an Ares Alpha overlay to track the players on the field to give an excellent insight in the ongoing game and a duo of hosts to explain the details of what is going on. The spectator area will be located in the centre of the action, where spectators can view the game from the second floor while the action is happening below and around them. This gives a perfect opportunity to get familiar with airsoft as a new potential airsofter or enjoy a social day packed with hi-speed, lo-drag action. Vistors are welcome from 10:00 till 18:00 to experience the AWG first hand.
Inside the Frysen Airsoft store AWG has set up a test range with various rifles to test. ICS and Evolution have provided samples for you to feel, shoot and experience.
