After that feeling of “Back to Work” this week it’s the first Friday of a New Year back at it, and the AA Crew are shaking themselves out in readiness for the rest of this month! ISSUE 158 is now almost complete, so we’re putting the finishing touches to that at AAHQ, and we’re already very much looking forward to SHOT and IWA to see new things and meet up with old friends!
In the meantime the clock is ticking for the PLAYERS CHOICE AWARDS and if you haven’t already placed your votes, then please make sure to do so, as every single vote placed will count!
Last year we narrowly missed out to the great team at ARMS magazine, and we know we’re up against some stiff opposition with some fabulous nominees in our categories “Best Airsoft Magazine (Print or Digital)” and the “Best English Language Airsoft News Website”… so, please drop those votes where you feel you should as voting closes on 15 JANUARY!
For now though we’ll hand over to Stewbacca this week as he’s really nailed how we’re feeling ourselves…

Best Non-English Language Airsoft News Website features our friends at WMASG of Poland as well as Airsoftnu of Sweden, so naturally a vote for either of them is well deserved to my mind.
Best Airsoft Community/Forum features Airsofter World, WMASG, and Airsoft Europe but personally I have to give it to Heavy Recoil Club this year because gas blowback gun reasons… a hard choice here as these are all great groups!
Best Airsoft Podcast has to go to ma bois at 4UAD Smart Airsoft, although Explosive Enterprises are also on that list, so it’s another tough call.
Many of the other categories are either less of interest to me personally, or have difficult choices between people I like equally; again, as with everything the choices are ultimately yours, but I don’t mind shouting out the clear winners or good content creators I appreciate the efforts of.
