So That’s it, the end of another fabulous month, a month where many of us have got back out to shoot and play in earnest, and as the mornings and evenings are already starting to get lighter, the start of another (hopefully!) amazing year of airsoft!
The first two AIRSOFT ACTION issues of 2025 are already published and live online, and the next is just awaiting the report from Bill, Jase, and Miguel when they return from IWA… that will go live on the 15th MARCH as usual, and there will be a LOT for you to read about, that’s for sure!
But while some of the AA Crew are in Germany, and we await their first report from the show floor of IWA later today, the rest are hard at it airsoft-wise too… although we do have a couple of “men down” thanks to the nasty bugs that are still plaguing us from the winter…
Stewbacca kicked things off again this week and told us, “This weekend team TaiJi are returning to an earlier [redacted] site for some further gaming followed by more training in the likes of FIBUA (or MOUT) for our US lexicon friends. Exciting times; I’ll likely give the MP5SD3 and T91 SOC a run out as the OSW has been living in my head and my hands rent free since I got that and it’s ready for review write up already…
We also have Friday off for the national 2/28 peace memorial holiday commemorating Taiwan’s equivalent of the Easter rising and the martial law government crackdown that ensued… So I’ll likely be heading back to the coast to see friends and have a Braai with them to make best use of our day off…”
Boycie said “I have an Umarex roadshow coming to work and will be doing my best to showcase some products”, while Ben added “there’s no local games planned this weekend, so I shall be resetting the zero on the mp7 IR laser for some upcoming night games, and working more with my drone to really get to grips with what I can achieve with it.”
Dan sadly commented “Well, since the last update I’ve been dealing with a recurrence of everyone’s worst friend, Mr. Norovirus! This one seems to be a tenacious bastard, unfortunately. If I’m feeling better at the weekend, I want to prep my gear for the upcoming Siberian Strike event and make sure it’s all ready to go. Looks like it’s projected to warm up with a bit of rain and snow mixed in for good measure. Be a good time to re-treat my boots too lol.”
So it’s a somewhat shorter “weekly” than usual from us, but nonetheless the month ahead will undoubtedly be an exciting one as we find out exactly what new goodies are forthcoming from the last major show in the season! From our experience there will still be a few surprises at IWA, and be sure to tune in for the new issue in a couple of weeks time to find out exactly what they are!
For now though we hope that you’ll all continue to make the most of the improving weather and longer days to get out and enjoy your “6mm fix”, whatever that may be… of course if you’re out and in-game this weekend, then Play hard, Play safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
