As one of the AA Crew would say, “Things continue to escalate!” and the end-of-year pace shows no sign of letting up!

After a superbly successful MOA in Taipei (Stewbacca’s full report will be in ISSUE 169 next month!) the show season continues as Bill travels off today to join Miguel in Portugal for the EXPOAIRSOFT!

Bill told us that “We all tend to work remotely (and all over the world!) these days, and although the AA Crew is a tight-knit team in itself, sometimes it takes a while to physically bring members together! I am very much looking forward to finally meeting my friend Miguel in person and on his home turf after all this time, and to enjoying Lisbon in the company of him and the GHOSTS at the EXPOAIRSOFT… and of course I’ll report back on this event that’s going to bring many of the Portuguese teams, the associations, and even some of the airsoft stores together in one place at one time!

Miguel (pictured this week with his trusty Specna Arms AR) countered by saying “Well, you already know what our weekend will be about, but I’ll write it anyway! This Saturday we will be part of the EXPOAIRSOFT 2024, a first-time fair that aims to join-up teams, clubs, associations, shops and other projects related to airsoft. Everyone is welcome, players and non-players. We will have discussion panels, life podcasts and some other surprises… I hope that Bill and I will see some of you there!

But of course elsewhere the rest of the AA Crew will be equally busy… Stewbacca gets back behind his guns, and told us “This weekend, I will mostly be drilling papers and poppers at the Kaohsiung level 3 IPSC Taiwan shoot, the final qualifier match I need to attend to allow me to participate in the world shoot Action Air match in the Philippines next July. Exciting times, fellow shooters…”

Rich reported that “I’m attending the opening day of Blackstone CQB in Huntingdon. Looking forward to it”, while Ben said “I’m playing at Cool Under Fire locally again and getting some more night gameplay, and hopefully get some sweet footage too! I wish I could play more night games as really enjoy them, especially running under DNV; it’s like a whole different experience and way to play… patience, tactics and on the spot thinking, making decisive moves to keep myself undetected to allow for maximum kills and enemy team disruptiveness!”

Boycie and Li’l Stu are taking dome downtime and preparing for their next trip to SHOT 25! Boycie said “I’ll be starting the planning for our trip to Shot Show 25, with all the news and reports to submit daily… the SIX P’s are always our friend, and I want to make sure that the crew has everything ready to make the very best of our time in the USA!”

Of course Dan will be joining Boycie and L’il Stu in Vegas as usual, but as snow comes down in the UK he told us “We’re getting some of the remnants of the bomb cyclone that hit the PNW here, so the snow has started falling! As for this weekend, after 15 years of patient waiting, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has finally arrived. Suffice it to say I believe you’ll know where I’ll be…”

So, as always it’s a right old mix of what the AA Crew are up to this weekend, but they’re set and ready to take on whatever gets thrown at them! Whatever airsoft-goodness is on the horizon for YOUR weekend, we hope you have a good one… just remember to work to the elements, and to Play hard, Play safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
