It’s very much back to “airsoft business at usual” again at AAHQ, and with the sun pouring in through the window this morning it looks like it’s going to be a great weekend ahead, and we know that some of you at least will be heading off to games both large and small… in fact here in the UK it looks like it’s going to actually be a “warm one” so please make sure that you adjust your hydration accordingly…

ISSUE 173 is all wrapped up now and ready to upload over the weekend to our publishing platforms in readiness for APRIL 15, so keep an eye out for the push-notification on that when it goes live… if you’ve not yet signed up for the post notifications on the AA App then give it a go, and make sure you never miss another piece of AA airsoft news or a new issue again!

As for ISSUE 173 Bill (pictured this week) commented “although we’ve had our little break for the first part of the year, at AAHQ we’re always very aware that we have commitments and a schedule to meet; we all know that you expect a new issue on the 15th of the month now, so we make sure that everything is good to go even if we take some downtime! I’m off to the SALUTE wargames show at EXCEL on Saturday to meet up with some gaming/airsoft mates; that said, I am very much in need of some proper rangetime, and the VORSK VMP-2 needs just a few more BBs down the barrel in good weather conditions so Sunday’s looking good…”

Stewbacca kicked things into gear properly though by telling our chat group that “I’ve had a few weekends off the tools lately due to national holidays and other things, but team TaiJi are once again heading to [redacted] for some more gameplay and training, I’ll likely take the M16A2 to put on paper before I fit the 4UAD Magnus Pro HOP unit to it for review, and the FNC along to try it out further before the upcoming MilSim.”

Miguel followed up by saying “this Saturday we will be part of One Shot staff. An event from the ANA association focused only on snipers. I don’t have many details on the event, since we are mostly going to offer a helping hand…”

From our US-based team Dan chipped in to say “I will be hitting up a game this weekend with an old paintball buddy who’s wanting to get back into airsoft again. It’s been a long week, so I’m looking forward to getting away from the hustle and bustle and having a chill weekend. It’ll be good to reconnect with an old friend too (and give him sh*t about being so rusty lol)” while Matt said “it’ll be Sunday practice as usual, dialling in my Roland”.

After some busy CQB –action over the past couple of weeks Ben said “nothing airsoft for this weekend as I’ve been full-on recently other than editing footage of the ‘Airport’ game…there were some gem moments, and even though it faces some challenges due to the unique nature of the site, it wasn’t all bad!”

Boycie as always is playing cagey as he told us that “I’m moving on a little further in part of a project we’re calling <Redacted> Other than that I’m heading to another shooting-related show where I’ll be surprised if I find any airsoft but you never know…”

So, pretty short and sweet from us this week, but the AA Crew are all revving up again for games and events soon to come! Like us we hope that you’re prepping and checking your gear for a busy summer ahead, and of course if you’re out playing this weekend then we’ll leave to your weekend by saying  Play Hard, Play Safe, and above all… Play with Honour!
