The last two weeks have been busy as hell at AAHQ as the team prepared for IWA and then hit the show in Germany in full force… Bill, Jase, Miguel, Sara and Bruno have now submitted their report from the show to design… and it’s going to be HUGE, possibly the biggest report we’ve ever run in AIRSOFT ACTION.

Want to know what it’s like to attend one of the biggest shooting sports shows in the world for the first time? Tune in on MARCH 15 to ISSUE 173 to find out!

They saw so many fabulous companies in Nuremberg this year, and gathered so much content that we’ll need to run some individual articles over the next few months to cover everything that they saw… it really was that good. Well done to the “AA IWA 2025 Crew” for all their efforts!

But, “airsoft business as usual” continues unabated, and the rest of the AA LEGION are as busy as always, and not slowing down as the year races on…

Stewbacca told us in our contributor chat this week that “this weekend, I will be mostly shooting… VFC’s JW2 TTI AR AEG (yeah I was supposed to be doing that already but then they gave me the OSW GBBR and that stole my interest) along with their Stark Arms SA320T; team Taiji will be going over to our Longtan site which I haven’t been to in a while, weather permitting. Also got to find time to actually read the current issue as I haven’t had time thus far and the next one will be out before I know it…”

Dan checked in to say “some friends and I will be traveling from our various corners of the state (and out of state) to the first big Airsoft game of the year this weekend. There’s still lots to prep and pack as I also will be delivering a number of repairs and newly upgraded replica’s to their owners who will also be attending. Per usual, I’m expecting the trunk of the car to look like a corner of Yuri Orlov’s warehouse. The goal is to come back with less than I bring… but that doesn’t always happen…”

Boycie and L’il Stu are up to their secret-squirrel shenanigans again it would seem, and Boycie told us “I am working on plans for Project <Redacted>”, whilst Li’l Stu confirmed “this weekend I’ll be getting <Redacted> with Boycie and some friends… and depending on the level of <Redacted> I’ll be sorting through the kit…”

The plot thickens… we’ve literally no idea what “da bois” are working on… or perhaps we do… and Ben told us that “I was thinking of doing a night-time hike with the NVG and do some star gazing; Sunday I might have a bit of a shoot up on the range,.. do some transition drills…”

And although some of the “AA IWA Crew” are taking some downtime, Miguel is as busy as ever, and he’s already onto the next game! He said “this Sunday, we will be present at KIA 5. It’s our first big airsoft event of the year and one that also remembers those who are no longer part of our community and where both factions are commanded by active military personnel. It will also be the first major event for some of our newer guys.”

To conclude a very busy week, Bill updated everyone to say “Issue 173 is now complete, with just the IWA Report to finish up over this weekend, so I’m aiming to get some rangetime in on Sunday and get some more BBs downrange with the VMP-2D… after seeing what’s coming at IWA I am loving this program, and this rifle! IWA was a fabulous show for AIRSOFT ACTION, but the level of coverage we are able to provide now, and the insight to the show itself just wouldn’t be possible without such a strong team, so again my thanks go to the guys that were with me… and to all the contribution team for creating such fabulous content month after month, and year after year!”

So that’s it for now from us, and we sincerely hope that you have some airsoft adventures of your own lined up for this weekend! Whatever they may be we hope you love your airsoft just as much as we all do, and if you’re out in-game just remember to Play hard, Play safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
