Another week wings it’s way by, and a long weekend has been spotted here at AAHQ!
Once again it’s been a busy old week with loads going on, but as usual in the office it’s been all about preparing our content for ISSUE 162 that will drop soon! As always we’ll have loads of airsoft reviews, articles, and reports for you to enjoy from our committed AA LEGIONNAIRES!
As is the norm with the run-up to a new issue there’s still a lot of final testing and rangework to complete before we drop our evaluation on some cracking new models, and Bill tells us that “I’m really looking forward to this weekend as the weather promises to be fair, and I’ve got some really fun models to complete range-testing on; I’ll be out with the new G&G R5 and the DB Dracarys AEGs, and also the DB take on the Noveske N4 GBBR… I’m REALLY interested to see how that performs in warmer weather! It’s actually been great so far, but I’m keen to get it running on lower-powered gas in a milder climate to see what it makes of that!”
Stewbacca chipped into our regular end-of-week chat to say that “This week, I will be mostly teaching rifle class. Our CivDef group are venturing into the hills of Xindian for some long range work for a change of scenery from our usual indoor exploits. Hopefully the weather will hold for us!”
Our newest AA LEGION member in the UK, Rich told us “We were due to be visiting RIFT Airsoft’s The Bombdump on Sunday but that’s been cancelled, so instead we got invited to one of their other sites, Redcon-2 at Dalton Barracks; my son and I, and four other members of the team so it should be a good day.”
Ben (pictured this week) is hard at work in another way as he said “I’ve got last Sundays game footage to finish off, my review on the ICS LEGACY pistol to do, and some adjustments to my drop-leg extra mag pouch… the strap keeps coming a little loose…other than that I shall be spending some time with my father as I have that extra day.”
Boycie and L’il Stu are out about the business again, as they told us “For me it will be a quiet, not quiet weekend. I’m delivering 3 x ASG SHADOW 2 to my RS UKPSA friends at our next RS LBR/LBP competition. They will be using the Shadows for training away from live fire. Also L’il Stu will be meeting me there to take some photos, before we head back to Casa Boycie for a family weekend!” and Li’l Stu commented “Off to see Boycie, and take some photo’s whilst I’m there…. as usual!”
So pretty much a standard weekend for the AA Crew, but as always we hope that you have some cool airsoft adventures planned! Whatever you may be doing, wherever you may be playing, we hope you have a great time… and remember our mantra… Play hard, Play safe, and above all, Play with Honour!
