It’s been a little while since we had some news from our friends over at LCT AIRSOFT to share with you, but we’ll be seeing them at IWA to find out all the very latest… in the meantime they’ve been in touch to let us know that they have continued with the program of making some classic platform thoroughly modular, and this time it’s their LC3 and LK53 AEGs that are getting some “modern love”!
They told us that;
“We’re glad to introduce LCT’s brand-new modern tactical series, the LC-3 M-LOK and LK-53 M-LOK AEG/EBB!
Both the LC3 M-LOK and LK53 M-LOK feature a durable, full-steel upper receiver and barrel, just like the other classic LC3 and LK53 models from LCT. We have modernized their appearance and enhanced their tactical versatility.
LC3 M-LOK Features:
- A newly designed octagonal M-LOK handguard, crafted from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum alloy.
- A durable and lightweight polymer lower receiver.
- Equipped with an SG1 buttstock and cheek pad.
LK53 M-LOK Features:
- A newly designed octagonal M-LOK handguard, crafted from lightweight CNC-machined aluminum alloy.
- An enlarged handguard battery compartment that supports the installation of an 11.1V 3-piece battery.
- PK426 1913-X folding stock with a popular skeletonized appearance, mounted on a 1913 20mm Picatinny rail adapter.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional, LCT offers a wide range of compatible parts to help you build your own unique AEG platform!”
These certainly look good to us, and back in ISSUE 152 Stewbacca told us of the LC-3K AEG that;
“So with another in the ever growing line of LCT Airsoft’s fantastically, and ultra-realistically, constructed H&K AEGs in hand I can certainly recommend it for the German engineering and cold-war-era weapons system fans among your ranks. Build quality and attention to detail are, as usual, something to behold and the ever-growing range of numerous spares and accessories allow you to once again personalise your LCT AEG to suit an array of historic or personal preferences and really make it your own.”
So, the LC3 model which we love, along with the LK53 are very much tried, tested, and much more than fit-for-purpose… and we think that you’ll agree that both now look absolutely bad-ass!
We can’t wait to hear what else LCT AIRSOFT have to tell us about when we see them at IWA!
