With SHOT SHOW 2025 really getting into gear today as “Da Bois” head off to “Industry Day at the Range”, they’ve already been busy in Las Vegas, and with even more friends arriving like those from the team behind the ARMED LIFESTYLE (AL) magazine that we collaborate with, things are really hotting up!
Boycie reported in to tells us that;
“We arrived into our hotel at around 1900 (PST) and got our rooms (numbers <Redacted> ) sorted, dropped off our bags and headed downstairs for some food and a beer. Not long after we hit the sack as we’d been awake for a little over 24 hours and the plane seats didn’t allow for much sleep.
We had a lazy morning before getting sorted and heading down to the “Coffee Shop” in the hotel for breakfast. As is now the tradition on the first morning we had an 8oz New York Steak, Eggs and Hash Browns (nothing like UK hash browns!). We awaited the arrival of our good friends John “The King of Kydex” Phillips and Trampas Swanson. After their arrival we adjourned to the Sports Bar for big beefy urgers!
A leisurely morning yesterday, breakfast with the group; L’il Stu was feeling a L’il under the weather, so Steve, John and I headed over to Discount Firearms for a meeting with Josh and took the opportunity to try out a number of firearms whilst we were there, “it’s rude not to” Steve said! We ended up trying out S&W MP2.0, M4, MP5, AK, 1911, Ruger GP100 and the mighty Barrett Light 50. Later in the afternoon we headed over to the Venetian Exhibition Center to collect our press passes for the week.
As is the norm we all then met up for the now-traditional “Family Dinner” with both the AA and AL crews assembled! This is where the whole reporting team for both Airsoft Action and Armed Lifestyle Magazine meet up and have a fun evening and a good catch-up before we all head out to the big “Industry Day at The Range”!”
No doubt there will be tales told of “shooting real” in tomorrow’s update, and we hope that “Da Bois” and all our friends have a fabulous day today (not jealous!)! Tomorrow of course everyone will be hitting the show proper… and then the news-hunt truly begins!
