It’s obviously a week for “gucci ARs” as the lovely folk at PTS have been in touch to let us know about their latest ERG model, and it’s a bit unique, even for an AR, as it’s fully-loaded with licenced parts from RADIAN WEAPONS who, in the own words;

So, after introducing the PTS Radian Model 1 GBBR, PTS has finally released the recoil AEG version, the Radian Model 1 ERG of this innovative rifle. Like it’s GBBR counterpart, Radian AEG’s A-DAC billet style receiver incorporates all of the innovative features of the actual Radian Model 1’s patented ambidextrous receiver.
The revolutionary Radian Weapons patented A-DAC (Ambidextrous Dual Action Catch) has fully ambidextrous features including the mag catch, Radian Talon safety selector, and bolt release. Other features of the Radian A-DAC receiver include a flared magwell and an integral enlarged trigger guard for faster and adverse condition weapon manipulation. In the upper receiver is the Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle. The proprietary M-LOK compatible rail smoothly blends with the uniquely designed proprietary billet style upper receiver thus making the entire upper receiver assembly ultra-rigid.
Internally, the Radian Model 1 ERG utilizes the highly robust KWA recoil system for realistic shooting action and incorporates their new fully programmable ETU (electronic trigger unit). The ETU features programmability for pre-cocking, variable burst or semi-lock modes, adjustable trigger sensitivity, and a trigger “equalizer” setting which adjusts the trigger reset point to help facilitate rapid firing. There is also a brushless motor mode to optimize the gun’s performance for brushless motors.
The PTS Radian Model 1 ERG includes the PTS premium proprietary design Enhanced Polymer Grip (AEG), Enhanced Polymer BUIS, Enhanced Polymer Magazine (ERG), and Enhanced Polymer Stock.
So, one hell of a package, one that’s designed not only to look fabulous, but that will also perform superbly on the field given the already tried and tested ERG system and the further enhancements with the most up-to-date technology.
