As we’re preparing ISSUE 167 to go live tomorrow (yes, it is THAT TIME!) the AA crew are still doing their eagle-eyed best when it comes to new products arriving here in the UK (and further afield of course!) and one AEG that’s taken out fancy during our weekend team-chat is the M924 DMP-9 SMG from DOUBLE EAGLE!
We’ve been very impressed indeed to see how DOUBLE EAGLE have gone from strength to strength more recently, consistently offering new high-quality platforms at very competitive prices.
This compact and customisable M924 is perfect for CQB with its short length and foldable stock. The integrated Kestrel Basic ETU offers programmable fire modes, including 3-round burst and binary trigger, for ultimate control. DOUBLE EAGLE have used the latest materials to produce this model, making use in this case of nylon-reinforced polymer for the body and handguard, resulting in a solid platform with a minimal weight of 2.1 kg.
The M924 sits neatly in the PCC/PDW world, and comes equipped with a picatinny rail on top for mounting optics, and the 6” handguard features an M-LOK-style accessory mounting system. The fire selector and bolt catch are ambidextrous, making handling easier, and the stock is a skeletonized model, foldable to the left, with a QD point at the rear of the stock.
And inside you get more goodies from Eshooter…oh by those guys are working hard! The Eshooter ETU V2 system gives intelligence, reliability, and fast response times. With the Eshooter App, you can customise things the way you like it, setting pre-cocking, trigger sensitivity, and selector modes.
We’re told that the system supports brushless motors (all the rage right now!) , and there are additional features such as a shot counter, settings memory, and sensor calibration enhancement interactivity. The ETU V2 also offers battery protection, a sniper mode with adjustable delay, software updates, and a sleep function, ensuring long and reliable operation of the replica.
So, overall the features look GREAT!
