Wow! We mentioned yesterday things that are “hot right now” and it appears that things are indeed heating up if you’re in the market for an APC-9 replica!
We’ve been testing both the MkI and MkII GBB models from LAMBDA DEFENSE and now we’ve sorted out the hiccups on the MkI it’s running great… and the MkII has proved to be a proper little tack-driver from word go.
However, our mates at iWHOLESALES just gave us the nod that they now have in some of the MARUYAMA SCW-9 PRO-G GBB models, designed in Japan but made in Taiwan!
As we already know replicas are inspired by the B&T APC-9K, the US Army’s recently adopted PDW/SMG, the version that utilises “9mm” magazines, and we’re told that;
“The Maruyama SCW-9 PRO-G is not just another Airsoft SMG; it’s a masterpiece of engineering and design, built for those who demand the best in performance, durability, and versatility.
- Precision at its Core: With a 6.03mm inner barrel and adjustable hop-up, this SMG ensures laser-like accuracy, making you a formidable force on the battlefield.
- Gas-Powered Dominance: Experience the realism and power of gas blowback action as you fire round after round with incredible consistency. The velocity may vary with temperature and gas, but the performance remains unmatched.
- Tactical Suppressor: The 135mm suppressor not only adds to the SMG’s aesthetics but also reduces the sound profile, allowing you to operate in stealth mode when needed.
- Built to Last: Crafted from a blend of steel, anodized CNC aluminium, aluminium alloy, and nylon-reinforced polymer, the Maruyama SCW-9 PRO-G is designed to endure the toughest battles and the harshest conditions.
- Customizable Fire Modes: Whether you prefer to switch between Safe, Semi, or Full Auto, this SMG has got you covered. Adapt to any situation with ease.
- Magazine Compatibility: Use VFC Glock magazines for a seamless reloading experience, with a real-capacity 50-round magazine included.
- Fully Ambidextrous: The Maruyama SCW-9 PRO-G caters to both left and right-handed users, ensuring you have full control, no matter your dominant hand.”
We’ve also been told that the power up tri-lug suppressor incorporates an inner barrel extension to enhance FPS and Range, and this is included as a part of the deal. In order to guarantee that the SCW-9s are shooting at sensible power levels on green gas with the suppressors fitted, Maruyama has placed air restrictors into the nozzle before they leave the factory!
Although the SCW-9 has been “in the wild” for a little while now, we’re very pleased to hear that they are now making their way through more reliable distribution channels, and with several APC-9 replicas hitting the market there’s some real choice for players… and we are definitely looking forward to getting hands-on with the MARUYAMA SCW-9 PRO-G GBB just as soon as we can!
