A “business as usual” week at AAHQ this week as we prepare to start getting ISSUE 150 laid up, and the entire AA Crew have been getting their articles, reviews and reports in so that we can kick properly into “creation mode” next week!
But everyone is back to running at full-speed again, and Miguel is on fire, with game after game going under his battle-belt as he told us “this Sunday we are going to “Guerra Del Chapo”, a game with a group of teams that we are part of” and Stewbacca shows no sign of slowing as he reported that “last Sunday we actually ended up at Yangmei as the rains had made Hutoushan potentially muddy. Hopefully this weekend we’ll make good on Hutoushan this time.
I have the LCT LC3A3 Tactical which I might field once more before submitting my revisit review of all the trimmings. But last Saturday the good folks at Krytac got the Maxim 9 Deployment Case to me just in time for it’s first outing at Yangmei. And tonight I picked up a shiny new VFC HK53 GBBR from the fine gents at the VPSC on the way home from work. So, two more new toys to try out. Woe is me, etc. #SpoiltForChoice!”
Josh, our KRIOS Associate and photo-guru said that he’s “got a weekend playing with pyro with Flash Bang Smoke!” while Boycie is “doing a photoshoot for two articles in Issue 150 and then taking time to spend with my son. I’ll also be slipping in a cheeky session on an outdoor RS range…” Bill also checked in to let us know that “I’ve been on and off the range this week several times already with the new ICS ICP GBB and the ROSSI NEPTUNE SAS so I just need to put my final pre-150 weekend session to good use catching up the BB count on a couple of our G-Series models for the Red Cell report in the next issue!”
Fresh back from his MilSim experience last weekend with Jase, Jimmy is keeping up to speed too as he’ll be “off to my local haunt which is Cool Under Fire; I have a few gucci builds that need fielding for my upcoming articles. Looking forward to fielding the new GATE PULSAR with the TITAN 2 along with testing a complete custom build I have recently finished which sports some rather nice components, but guess what? You will have to grab the next issue to find out more!”
And we’ll conclude this week with our Red Cell tester, milsimmer extraordinaire and all-round good egg,“Birthday Boi Jase” (pictured this week) who’ll be celebrating a very special number this weekend… we hope you’ll join all the AA Crew in wishing him a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
So, as we head towards another new issue we hope that you’ve also got airsoft plans for the weekend ahead, and of course we’ll sign off as usual by saying, wherever you may be, Play hard, Play safe, and above all Play with Honour!
