There’s a lot of chatter surrounding the latest in the “Wick” franchise, although don’t expect any spoilers here other than we all know that there’s a new “Taran Tactical” pistol in the mix in the shape of the “PIT VIPER”!
Thanks to our friends at iWholesales we’re lucky enough to have snagged one from the first batch, and range testing is 100% underway so that we can bring you the full lowdown on this chunky new sidearm in ISSUE 149 on APRIL 15!
What we can tell you is that the licensed airsoft version has been produced by Army Armament in cooperation with Jag Precision and it’s a bit of a ball-buster!
Bill has been on the range putting the “PIT VIPER” through it’s paces and has reported back already that “this thing, from the box, kicks butt! It’s a “wick-ed” chunky handful of pistol loveliness that kicks hard and delivers BBs to target well at 10m; the non-tilting barrel design ensures smooth cycling, and thus far it’s proved to be exceptionally gas-efficient. I always enjoy my pistol-time on the short range, and this is definitely a postol I want to go back to time and again… much like the new movie itself!”
You’ll have to wait a few more days for our full evaluation, and with another weekend of testing ahead (this time somewhat warmer and drier than the last!) we’ll be able to tell just how good the “PIT VIPER” really is!
