Well what a weekend it’s been!
We didn’t put up an April 1st joke-post because we were… you know… out on the range or playing airsoft, but we have to admit that we did see some absolute corkers so a big THANK YOU to all the companies out there that gave us a properly good laugh!
We are very sad that the UF PRO “Tactical Lederhosen” will not be a valid option for our personal Cage though…
With all that jollity behind us let’s move straight back into gear, and the “MONDAY GUNDAY” slot again goes to G&G as they’ve just given us news on the latest addition to their licenced COBALT KINETICS replica line, which come in the shape of the BAMF RECON DST!
Now we do love the original BAMF Team carbine, and the model in the RED CELL long-term test pool is still giving absolutely great service! However, although we knew it was coming G&G have now officially introduced the all-new BAMF Recon in Desert Tan. They tell us that this upgraded AEG is lighter and more affordable than the original BAMF Team AEG, making it a great choice for any and all players who want something quite unique.
The BAMF Recon DST features a polymer receiver and a full metal M-LOK rail, which helps balance the overall weight of the AEG, and with its 90-round Auto-Drop Advance Magazine (A.D.A.M), reloading has never been easier. The patent-pending drop mechanism allows the magazine to fall freely once emptied, enhancing quicker reloads and getting you back into the fight. Plus, an on/off switch is conveniently located on top of the magazine, allowing you to enable or disable the drop mechanism as needed.
But that’s not all as the BAMF Recon DST also comes with a pre-installed MOSFET and an electronic trigger unit (E.T.U.), which provides optimal trigger pulls and increased battery protection. And with its upgraded ergonomic pistol grip, you’ll enjoy improved handling during gameplay.
We are REALLY liking the look of this wee beastie, and rest assured we’ll endaevour to put one head to head with the original BAMF Team carbine just as soon as we can!
