ICS Airsoft have been teasing us with their take on the modern AK in the form of the CXP-ARK for a while now, and it seems that we won’t have long to wait to finally get our hands on one!
We’ve long been fans of what ICS create, and have tested and reviewed a lot of their excellent AEGs over the years, but under the ICS #modernAK, and their tagline “Dare to Make a Difference” it’s been confirmed that the CXP-ARK will come with some exciting new features including:
New-design steel flash hider
New-design front/rear sight
M1913 Picatinny rail
APE Magpul-style tactical stock
ICS Ergo Technology pistol grip
Short-stroke Trigger
Window T-mag (compatible with other brand AKs)
ICS have also confirmed that there will be two colours available, black and a rather cool split black/green, and two systems available internally, either MOSFET or SSS.
There’s at least one member of the Airsoft Action team (guess who?) that’s drooling just a little bit right now, and ICS have already kindly confirmed that one will be on its way to us for field testing and evaluation just as soon as they are released; keep you eyes peeled for the lowdown on this exciting new model in a future issue of your favourite global airsoft magazine!
